Versioning and changelog

How the API changes, and what has changed.

  • All routes live under /v1. New optional fields can appear at any time, so build tolerant parsers.
  • Breaking changes get a new version and a migration note here.
  • Model releases are named in model_versions. Scores from different releases aren't comparable.

Changelog

  • 2026-10-31: identity.match is now filled in on review outcomes. A clear mismatch is rejected even when PAD is unclear. pad_inconclusive now allows a retry. Rate-limit headers now reach verify and enrollment.
  • 2026-10: first v1 pilot release.
